Looking for strong DevOps and automation experience depth in key Azure DevOps areas (YAML pipelines, agent types/concepts, Bitbucket integration, and git troubleshooting along with multi-repo/PR based CI/CD triggers) which are all critical for the role.

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with strong software engineering and Azure cloud expertise to support SaaS, web, and custom-development platforms, driving CI/CD, tooling, and multi-platform infrastructure. The role is accountable for leading and establishing DevOps practices, collaborating with engineering teams to implement automated build, deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure solutions across complex environments.

You will work closely with technical and business stakeholders, translating technical concepts into clear, non-technical language when needed and ensuring high standards of reliability, security, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mature DevOps practices, standards, and best practices across multiple teams.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, including automated builds, deployments, and testing.
• Manage and optimize Azure DevOps environments, including build and release pipelines.
• Administer and optimize source control (Git, Azure DevOps Repos), including branching, integration, and merging strategies.
• Perform integrations for production builds, hotfixes, and releases.
• Configure and manage software build and deployment tools (e.g., Azure DevOps).
• Implement and manage static code analysis and security scanning (e.g., SonarQube, Checkmarx, Orca or equivalent).
• Design, deploy, and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell or similar scripting languages.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues in hosting and application environments, including deep-dive analysis when required.
• Partner with engineering teams to identify, diagnose, and resolve application issues and performance bottlenecks.
• Monitor hosting environments, ensuring SLAs and performance targets are met.
• Implement monitoring and logging using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or similar.
• Ensure adherence to standards, policies, and procedures, including security and compliance requirements.
• Understand business requirements and project KPIs and translate them into technical solutions.

Skills and Experience

• 6+ years of overall IT experience.
• Strong experience in cloud architecture and design, with at least 3 years in Azure-focused automation of IT administration, processes, and deployments.
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, building and managing build and release pipelines.
• Solid experience with microservices and distributed applications, including containers, Kubernetes, and/or serverless technologies.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and delivery using Agile practices and tools (e.g., Azure Boards).
• At least 2 years of programming/scripting experience (PowerShell or similar).
• Experience working on Linux-based infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of code quality and security tools (e.g., SonarQube, Checkmarx, HCL AppScan, Orca Security or equivalent).
• Familiarity with security best practices and implementation of security measures within the software development lifecycle.
• Good understanding of testing methodologies and tools (e.g., Selenium, unit testing frameworks).
• Experience automating and integrating systems and services using Terraform for cloud infrastructure (preferably Azure).
• Experience with open-source technologies and cloud services.
• Experience with monitoring and logging stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or similar).
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
