DevOps Engineer ? Job Description (3+ Years Experience) Job Description We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with 3+ years of hands-on experience in CI/CD, cloud platforms, containerization, and infrastructure automation. The ideal candidate should have strong problem?solving skills, experience working in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure solutions. Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab. Deploy, manage, and monitor containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (AKS/EKS/GKE). Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM/Bicep. Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS / Azure / GCP. Set up and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, etc. Collaborate with development teams to improve build, release, and deployment processes. Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and drive long-term improvements. Ensure security best practices including secrets management, IAM governance, and vulnerability remediation. Automate repetitive tasks and improve system efficiency using scripting (Shell, Python, PowerShell). Required Skills Strong knowledge of Linux fundamentals, networking, and system troubleshooting. Hands-on experience with Git, branching strategies, and version control best practices. Proficiency in containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes). Experience creating and managing CI/CD pipelines. Good understanding of Terraform or similar IaC tools. Working experience with AWS/Azure/GCP core services. Experience with monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch, etc.). Familiarity with microservices architecture and REST APIs. Knowledge of security concepts: secrets, certificates, least privilege, vulnerability scanning. Good communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams. We are not looking for someone who Only has theoretical DevOps knowledge without real hands-on experience. Depends entirely on GUI-based cloud operations and is uncomfortable with CLI or automation. Is not comfortable troubleshooting Linux systems or containers. Has limited understanding of networking, security basics, or cloud infrastructure.
