Job Summary

A DevOps Engineer is a seasoned professional who embodies the fusion of software development (Dev) and IT operations (Ops), playing a pivotal role in the continuous delivery and lifecycle management of software applications. They play a crucial role in automating and streamlining the software development lifecycle, from coding and deployment to maintenance and updates. By fostering a culture of collaboration between development and operations teams, they ensure that systems are reliable, scalable, and can support continuous integration and delivery.

What a Day In The Life Looks Like

• Automating deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications.
• Conducting system performance analysis and optimization
• Work with our development teams to build an understanding of DevOps principles.
• Proactively seek assistance as required to complete work in a reasonable amount of time.
• Actively participate in the Agile process, such as daily huddles, estimating, code reviews, and retrospectives.
  
  

What You Bring To The Team

• Experience building new CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps.
• Experience with containerization and container orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Helm Charts, Docker, or equivalent technologies.
• Proficient in shell scripting to automate tasks.
• Strong understanding of microservice architectures and technologies
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree (Computer Science, or related field) or equivalent work experience.
• Medium level of experience (5+ years) in software development
