Job Title: Lead DevOps Engineer Experience 9-12 Years Location: Pune Only Work mode: Hybrid (2-3days in a week onsite) Preferred Notice: 0-15 days. Key Skills (Must Have)- CICD, AWS, Terraform, GIT, Python, Kubernetes, Jenkins Job Description We need senior DevOps SMEs who can embed in development teams to drive cultural change, educate on advanced DevOps, and perform highly technical work on CI/CD adoption to the MarketStone CI/CD pipeline. The specific delivery for each application we target is to replatform to the Market Stone CI/CD pipeline platform at the end of the team rotation. Technologies involved include GitHub, Rust, .Net, Java, Python, TypeScript, Ansible, Gradle, Conda, Docker, Kubernetes, TeamCity, Jenkins, and many more. Constraints involve monolithic codebases, legacy development practices, technical debt, migration timelines, and cultural complexities. We need extensive, expert-level understanding of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and the ecosystem that surrounds them e.g., Rust and GitHub, building, deploying releases, containerizing, automated testing, etc. While secondary, knowledge of existing DORA capabilities is desired. Key Role and Responsibilities: ? The objective of the program is to drive DevOps transformations in our development teams. ? We need highly experienced DevOps engineers to embed in our development teams to educate them on modern DORA capabilities, both practices and technology to help them improve their productivity. ? We expect them to help embed these teams from our current standard CI/CD pipeline. ? This sophisticated end-to-end pipeline is built on GitHub and enables teams to go from idea to production in one day. ? It implements end requirements of many of the DORA capabilities, with quality gates in place to ensure compliance. ? It automates everything and can be automated when connected to CI/CD. ? Our delivery team does have a mandate to adopt this pipeline, but each team is facing its own unique challenges. ? Some teams lack test automation or coverage, some lack understanding of practices like trunk based development, some have old language versions that need to first be upgraded, some need to containerize, etc. ? Whatever the specific challenges for the team, we need these embedded DevOps engineers to help accelerate the team?s adoption journey, making sure they do not end up as a crutch by simply doing all the work for them. ? Success will be determined when the application team they are helping completes their first successful production release using the MarketStone CI/CD pipeline described above. At that point they can be moved to help another team
