Overview

Our client is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their team on a contract-to-hire basis. This role will serve as a technical leader responsible for advancing cloud infrastructure, automation, and DevOps best practices within a large-scale enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong AWS expertise, Infrastructure as Code experience, and a proven ability to assess, mature, and optimize enterprise DevOps practices

This position will support a Salesforce-based environment, making prior experience working within Salesforce ecosystems highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Develop and support CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Kubernetes.
• Assess existing DevOps processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
• Partner with Development, QA, Operations, and business teams to drive successful delivery outcomes.
• Establish and promote DevOps standards, governance, and best practices.
• Mentor team members and help mature the overall DevOps organization.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of DevOps engineering experience within AWS environments.
• Strong experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions.
• Hands-on experience designing and supporting CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform.
• Kubernetes administration and deployment experience.
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise environments.
• Ability to evaluate existing processes, identify gaps, and help drive DevOps maturity and operational excellence.

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting Salesforce environments.
• Understanding of Salesforce deployment processes and platform-specific DevOps considerations.
• Experience with Gearset for Salesforce code deployments.
• Experience helping build or scale DevOps practices within enterprise organizations.
