Job Title: DevOps Engineer (1?2 Years Experience) Location : Hyderabad Openings: 1 About the Role: We are seeking a DevOps Engineer with 1?2 years of experience to design, build, and maintain robust on-premises Kubernetes infrastructure while leveraging AWS cloud services. You will lead automation, deployment, monitoring, and scaling of containerized applications across hybrid environments, ensuring high availability, security, and efficiency in a fast-paced startup setting. Note: Experience with on-premises Kubernetes deployments is mandatory. Key Responsibilities: Architect, deploy, and manage highly available Kubernetes clusters on-premises for seamless container orchestration and scalability. Containerize applications using Docker and manage deployment pipelines targeting both on-prem Kubernetes and AWS environments. Provision and automate infrastructure setup with Terraform and Ansible for both physical/virtual on-prem resources and cloud infrastructure. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI. Implement monitoring and alerting with Prometheus and Grafana for cluster and application health. Design centralized logging solutions using ELK stack or Splunk for on-prem containers and systems. Manage networking configurations including VPNs, ingress controllers, firewalls, and security policies in hybrid setups. Implement and maintain secrets management using HashiCorp Vault or Kubernetes Secrets. Collaborate with development, QA, and product teams to support continuous delivery and resolve production issues quickly. Drive best practices for infrastructure security, compliance, and disaster recovery. Mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of automation, efficiency, and reliability. Required Qualifications: 1?2 years of professional experience as a DevOps or Infrastructure Engineer, with mandatory on-premises Kubernetes deployment experience. Understanding of Kubernetes architecture, networking, and operations in on-prem environments. Proficiency with Docker and container lifecycle management in production. Experience with Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure automation (on-prem + AWS). Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.). Experience with AWS core services: EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda. Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana) and logging stacks (ELK, Splunk). Basic networking fundamentals: VPNs, ingress controllers, firewall rules, and security best practices. Experience with secrets management tools in production. Scripting skills (Bash, Python, or equivalent) for automation. Ability to troubleshoot distributed systems and optimize infrastructure performance. Strong communication skills and cross-functional collaboration. Preferred Skills: Experience with GitOps tools (ArgoCD, Flux). Knowledge of service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd). Familiarity with security compliance frameworks and disaster recovery planning. Experience working in startup or fast-paced agile environments.
