DevOps Engineer

Job Description: DevOps Engineer – AWS & AutomationPositioWe are looking for a highly motivated DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in AWS infrastructure, deployment automation, CI/CD, and workflow orchestration. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience managing modern cloud-native applications, particularly within the Laravel ecosystem, and should be passionate about automation and operational efficiency.

This role will focus heavily on building scalable automation workflows using tools like n8n, streamlining deployments, improving observability, and maintaining reliable production infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS
• Automate deployment pipelines and operational workflows
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
• Manage and optimize Laravel Cloud environments and deployments
• Develop workflow automations using n8n for operational and business processes
• Configure and maintain PostgreSQL databases for high availability and performance
• Monitor applications, infrastructure, and services using Nightwatch and related monitoring tools
• Implement automated alerting, backup, recovery, and scaling strategies
• Work closely with development teams to improve deployment reliability and release velocity
• Manage infrastructure-as-code and environment consistency across staging and production
• Troubleshoot production incidents and optimize system performance
• Ensure cloud security, access management, and compliance best practices
  
  

Required Skills & Experience

• 3–5 years of experience in DevOps / Cloud Engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, Route53, VPC, Lambda, etc.)
• Experience with Laravel Cloud deployments and Laravel-based infrastructure management
• Strong automation mindset with hands-on experience using n8n
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
• Strong understanding of Linux server administration
• Experience with PostgreSQL administration, tuning, and backup strategies
• Knowledge of infrastructure monitoring and observability tools such as Nightwatch
• Experience with deployment and server management tools like Ploi/Potshot or similar platforms
• Familiarity with Docker and containerized deployments
• Strong scripting skills (Bash, Shell, or Python preferred)
• Understanding of networking, DNS, SSL, and security best practices
