We are seeking a hands-on DevOps Engineer to join a cross-functional agile team responsible for the development of an internal monitoring platform that tracks real-time resource utilization of client-side hardware and laboratory infrastructure within a large enterprise IT environment. Your role will focus on developing and maintaining the infrastructure that powers this product, as well as managing the continuous delivery environment used by the developers.

• End-to-end management of the platform's lifecycle and network architecture across both development and production environments
• Close collaboration with the development team on release planning, scheduling, and technical execution
• Design, implement, and continuously optimize GitLab-based CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery
• Active participation in system architecture development, including validation and rollout of new technologies to improve performance
• Ensuring compliance with security requirements and managing third-party software (3PP) licensing and versioning
• Maintaining up-to-date technical documentation, deployment guides, and process diagrams

Basic Qualifications

• Strong Linux knowledge (server-side administration, RHEL, Ubuntu) and solid networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, Routing)
• High-level Bash and Python scripting skills for task automation
• Proficient use of Ansible
• Deep familiarity with Git and GitLab, including design and maintenance of complex CI/CD pipelines
• Hands-on experience managing Docker-based environments

Preferred additional skills, personal traits, experience

• Familiarity with Java-based applications, Maven build management, and SonarQube code quality tooling
• Experience with binary repository management (JFrog Artifactory)
• Basic Kubernetes knowledge or willingness to learn
• Operational and querying experience with relational (MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases
• Knowledge of REST API architecture and testing
• Ability to independently identify infrastructure gaps and propose solutions with minimal supervision
• Strong diagnostic mindset for complex technical issues (network failures, pipeline errors) with a creative, out-of-the-box approach to problem-solving
• High attention to detail when managing production environments and maintaining operational documentation
• Open to knowledge sharing and close collaboration in an agile team setting
