Developer + Quality Engineer

Job Description

What You'll Do Design, develop, and maintain application features using modern programming languages and frameworks. Write clean, efficient, and testable code aligned with best practices. Develop and execute automated test scripts (unit, integration, regression, performance). Collaborate with product owners, developers, and QA engineers to ensure requirements are well-understood and tested. Drive shift-left testing by embedding automation and quality practices early in the SDLC. Participate in code reviews, test plan reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives. Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, ensuring smooth build, test, and deployment automation. Monitor and analyse test results, defects, and production issues to ensure application stability. Advocate for quality-first engineering culture across the team. What You Know Strong proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript (or relevant tech stack). Experience in test automation frameworks (JUnit, TestNG, Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, PyTest, etc.). Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured, Karate). Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.). Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies. Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Solid grasp of database concepts (SQL/NoSQL). Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Education Bachelor?s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Applications, or related fields.
