Job Title: Developer ? Monitoring Operations. Job Summary: In this role, you will develop and support monitoring solutions, integrate systems, and automate workflows to improve operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills, experience with API integrations, and a collaborative mindset. Familiarity with monitoring tools, IT workflows, and incident management platforms is a plus. Responsibilities: ? Create Python-based solutions to integrate systems, platforms, and tools for monitoring and workflow automation. ? Ingest and process data from external systems into monitoring platforms. ? Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to system performance, availability, and integrations. ? Automate routine processes to enhance operational efficiency and identify optimization opportunities. ? Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet monitoring and observability requirements. ? Configure monitoring for server and application inventory. ? Maintain detailed documentation of systems, scripts, and workflows. ? Adhere to corporate change management policies and perform routine maintenance tasks. Requirements: ? Proficient in Python programming with experience in scripts, workflows, and system integrations. ? Strong understanding of REST APIs and data integration techniques. ? Hands-on experience with Terraform/Ansible/Puppet for infrastructure automation and configuration management. ? Experience with version control systems, particularly Git, and knowledge of GitHub Actions for CI/CD workflows. ? Understanding JavaScript for maintaining and supporting codebases as needed. ? Basic Linux knowledge to navigate and manage systems effectively. ? Familiarity with event and incident management concepts. ? Proven ability to automate tasks and optimize workflows. ? Strong communication and problem-solving skills. ? Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively. Preferred Qualifications: ? Bachelor?s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. ? 10+ years of experience in development (python, nodejs) and system integration. ? Hands-on experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell). ? Prior experience in monitoring or observability roles. ? Knowledge of ITIL practices and monitoring best practices.
