Role Description

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Java Full Stack Developer with 6+ years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java 8, Spring Boot/Spring MVC, Microservices, Angular (2+, preferably Angular 8+), and SQL. This is a hands-on development role requiring active involvement throughout the software development lifecycle, from design to deployment.

The successful candidate should possess a solid understanding of software architecture, Agile development methodologies, and best practices in application development. Experience collaborating with product managers, cross-functional teams, and offshore development teams is essential. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to work independently and mentor team members, are highly valued.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Java-based full-stack web application development.
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• Java 8
• Spring Boot and/or Spring MVC
• Microservices architecture
• Angular 2+ (Angular 8+ preferred) with at least 3 years of experience
• SQL and relational databases
• Understanding of software design principles, architecture, and the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Ability to design, build, and maintain highly available, responsive, and scalable applications.
• Strong communication, collaboration, leadership, and team-building skills.
• Experience working with product managers and distributed/offshore teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Redux (hands-on experience preferred; willingness to learn is acceptable).
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• Familiarity with Bitbucket, Rally, and modern DevOps practices.
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade Java-based web applications.
• Develop scalable backend services using Java, Spring Boot/Spring MVC, and Microservices.
• Build responsive front-end applications using Angular.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical designs, including UML diagrams where applicable.
• Participate in architecture discussions and recommend technology improvements and development best practices.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, QA teams, and offshore developers to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Troubleshoot production issues and ensure application performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Manage priorities effectively while meeting project milestones and release timelines.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and contribute to continuous process and technology improvements.
