Job Overview And Responsibilities The United IT team designs, develops and maintains massively scaling technology solutions that are brought to life with innovative architectures, data analytics and digital solutions. Our PSS-team is responsible for developing and maintaining our Passenger Service System (PSS), which is the heart of any airline and runs mission-critical and highly complex modules such as Schedule, Inventory, Reservations (PNRs and Tickets), and the Day-of-Departure customer processes! Our team is building new PSS system using the latest digital technologies and digital infrastructure to provide our customer the best digital experience in the industry. Design, develop and modify software applications/systems according to specifications Consults with Business Analysts and business partners on potential software solutions for business specifications. Consults with Business Analysts and business partners on potential software solutions for business specifications. Provides support to Senior Developer during the design portion of the SDLC. Support and troubleshoot software systems as required, optimizing performance, resolving problems, and providing follow-up on all issues and solutions. Develop appropriate software documentation as outlined in development framework. Complete comprehensive unit testing on all developed/enhanced software. Learn and present POCs on AI based software development tools. Qualifications Qualifications: Required Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business. 3+ years of experience in application design, development, installation and modification of software. 3+ years of experience with .NET technologies such as .NET (6/8), .NET Core, C#, Web API, React. Strong understanding of Agile methodologies 1+ year experience and good knowledge of both NoSQL databases and RDBMS databases such as Oracle, MySQL. Familiarity with AWS/cloud technologies. Good understanding of AWS/cloud technologies. Familiarity with React or Angular Front-End technologies. Good knowledge of Code Repositories such as GitHub and CI/CD pipelines. Exposure to AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude etc). Preferred Knowledge of security best practices in a DevOps environment. Experience with implementing and maintaining messaging platforms (Solace, MSK). Experience with API Management (Kong, Anypoint, Apigee).
