Job Title: Specialist – Design (Global Accounts)

Job Purpose

As a Specialist in Design for Global Accounts, you will partner closely with Sales and Project teams to deliver compelling workspace solutions that align with client strategies. Your role involves producing accurate design specifications, pricing, and tender documentation within tight timelines—ultimately driving financial performance and operational excellence for Haworth.

Key Responsibilities

Tender Management & Design Development

• Collaborate with Global Account Managers to understand tender expectations and prepare complete, high-quality responses.
• Develop design and specification packages—including product configurations, renders, space planning, and layout drawings (as required).
• Support pricing and margin verification to ensure compliance with customer technical requirements and scope.
• Coordinate with Haworth factories and third-party suppliers to obtain pricing, lead time, and custom product details.
• Work cross-functionally with departments such as Purchasing, Specials, Finance, Visualization, Ideation, and Sustainability for tender deliverables.
• Maintain an organized archive of all tender-related drawings and files.
• Ensure all drawings, documents, and quotations are submitted accurately and on time.
• Create compelling case studies to be used by Global Account Managers in customer PlayBooks.
• Consolidate and verify required documentation for tender submission, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
• Act as a liaison between departments to clarify tender scope, timelines, and deliverables.
• Create mood boards and design presentations for mock-ups.
• Prepare presentation materials using PowerPoint, Ceros, InDesign, and similar tools.
• Support e-bidding processes alongside Global Account Managers.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 4+ years of commercial experience in design, tender management, or related functions.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, PCON, Adobe Suite & Project Matrix.
• Highly detail-oriented, dedicated, and willing to work extended hours when required.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
