Role Description The Design Faculty role at BRDS Design Institute is a full-time, on-site position based in Meerut. The faculty member will conduct classroom and studio sessions, deliver lectures, and guide students through design fundamentals, creative processes, and portfolio development. Daily responsibilities include planning and preparing lesson materials, demonstrating design techniques, reviewing student work, providing constructive feedback, and assessing performance. The role also involves mentoring students for entrance examinations and interviews, collaborating with colleagues on curriculum enhancement, and participating in academic events, workshops, and reviews. The faculty member is expected to maintain an engaging, inclusive learning environment and stay current with design trends and educational best practices.
Qualifications

• Strong foundation in design principles, visual communication, and creative problem-solving, with the ability to teach both theory and practical application.
• Proficiency in relevant design tools and software (such as Adobe Creative Suite or similar), and familiarity with studio practices and portfolio development.
• Prior teaching, mentoring, or training experience in design or related fields, with skill in delivering structured lessons and evaluating student work.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support diverse learners and foster an inclusive classroom environment.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Fine Arts, Architecture, or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
• Ability to work full time on-site in Noida, collaborate with academic teams, and participate actively in institute initiatives, workshops, and events.
• Prior experience preparing students for design entrance exams or professional portfolios is an advantage.
