Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB) including industrial sheds, warehouses, and factory structures
• Perform structural analysis using STAAD Pro for load calculations (dead load, live load, wind load, seismic load)
• Prepare and review GA drawings, fabrication drawings, and erection drawings
• Develop optimized structural designs to ensure cost efficiency and safety
• Coordinate with sales, project, and production teams for design inputs and execution
• Ensure compliance with IS Codes and relevant design standards
• Prepare material take-offs (MTO) and support estimation processes
• Review and validate designs before fabrication and site execution
• Assist in resolving design-related issues at site

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering / Structural Engineering
• 2–5 years of experience in PEB design or steel structure design
• Strong hands-on experience with STAAD Pro for structural analysis
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for 2D drawings
• Basic knowledge of Tekla Structures or similar detailing software (preferred)
• Good understanding of load calculations and structural behavior
• Knowledge of IS Codes, wind and seismic design standards
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
