About Us
Propack Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a Design Engineer with experience in pharmaceutical and process equipment design. The candidate will be responsible for designing hygienic and fabrication-friendly equipment such as vessels, tanks, skids, and process assemblies. The role requires strong 3D modeling skills, understanding of stainless steel fabrication, and coordination with manufacturing teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Qualification:
- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 1-3+Years of Experience (Pharmaceutical Background)
Key Skills & Responsibility:
- Create 3D models and detailed fabrication drawings for pharmaceutical process equipment
- Design of SS vessels, tanks, agitators, skids, and piping assemblies
- Prepare GA drawings, fabrication drawings, and Bill of Materials (BOM)
- Apply hygienic design principles suitable for pharma applications
- Perform basic design calculations (thickness, load support, nozzle loads, etc.)
- Ensure proper tolerances and GD&T; are applied in drawings
- Coordinate with production, QA/QC, and procurement teams
- Support shop floor queries and design modifications during fabrication
- Ensure designs meet GMP requirements and client specifications
- Maintain drawing revisions and documentation control
Technical Skills Required:
- Proficiency in SolidWorks / Inventor / AutoCAD (2D & 3D)
- Experience in stainless steel fabrication design (SS304 / SS316)
- Knowledge of sheet metal and heavy fabrication
- Understanding of welding standards and joint types
- Awareness of surface finish requirements for pharma equipment
- Understanding of mechanical design fundamentals
- Familiarity with GD&T; basics
- Ability to read P&IDs; and process layout
Prefered Knowledge:
- Exposure to ASME standards (Section VIII basics preferred)
- Knowledge of pressure vessels and atmospheric tanks
- Understanding of cleanability, drainability, and sanitary design
- Experience working with process skids and modular systems
- Familiarity with BOM management systems / ERP
