Objective

Design and develop new fire protection products and components using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.

Job Title – Design Engineer – Solid works (Sihor Bhavnagar)

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies using SolidWorks, including 3D models, 2D manufacturing drawings, product modifications, and new product development.
• Prepare engineering documentation, including GD&T drawings, BOMs, technical specifications, assembly drawings, and engineering change records (ECNs).
• Support prototype and production activities by coordinating with Production, resolving design and assembly issues, assisting in tooling/fixture development, and providing technical support to Production and Quality teams.
• Participate in New Product Development (NPD) by conducting feasibility studies, design calculations, product validation/testing, and identifying cost reduction and value engineering opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with BIS, UL, CE, and company standards by following engineering SOPs, maintaining documentation, and contributing to continuous improvement and Kaizen initiatives.

Basic Qualification

BE Mechanical

2-4 Years of experience work in Solid works as a Design & Development

Skills Sets

·      Excellent knowledge of SolidWorks (Part, Assembly & Drawing).

·      Working knowledge of AutoCAD.

·      Knowledge of Sheet Metal, Fabrication, Welding, Laser Cutting, Deep Drawing and Manufacturing Processes.

·      Good understanding of GD&T, tolerances and engineering drawings.
