Design Engineer

We’re seeking a Design Engineer to support the design and development of systems and components for advanced nuclear projects. The role involves creating and reviewing engineering designs, ensuring compliance with nuclear codes and standards, and collaborating across disciplines to deliver safe, efficient solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and review detailed design drawings, specifications, and calculations.
• Ensure designs meet nuclear safety, regulatory, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and systems engineering teams.
• Support design reviews, configuration control, and change management.
• Provide technical input during fabrication and installation phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Nuclear Engineering.
• 4+ years of design experience in the nuclear or energy sector.
• Knowledge of ASME codes, NRC regulations, and design control processes.
• Strong CAD and technical documentation skills.
• PE license or EIT certification preferred.
