Location Name: Pune Corporate Office - Mantri Job Purpose We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer who can work independently on data pipeline development, troubleshooting, and optimisation tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL skills, hands-on experience with Databricks, and familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure. You will be responsible for building and maintaining reliable data workflows, supporting analytical teams, and ensuring high-quality, secure, and accessible data across the organisation. Duties And Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows. Build, optimise, and troubleshoot SQL queries, transformations, and Databricks data processes. Work with large datasets to deliver efficient, reliable, and high-performing data solutions. Collaborate closely with analysts, data scientists, and business teams to support data requirements. Ensure data quality, availability, and security across systems and workflows. Monitor pipeline performance, diagnose issues, and implement improvements. Contribute to documentation, standards, and best practices for data engineering processes. Required Qualifications And Experience Required Skills & Qualifications Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar data-focused role (3+ years). Strong SQL skills with experience writing and optimising complex queries. Hands-on experience with Databricks for data engineering tasks. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure. Understanding of ETL/ELT concepts, data modelling, and pipeline orchestration. Familiarity with Power BI and data integration with BI tools. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to work independently. Experience working end-to-end on data engineering workflows and solutions.
