Job Purpose: The Store Incharge-SM is responsible for overseeing and regulating store operations, ensuring efficient management of inventory and materials, with a primary focus on meter-related activities. This role involves maintaining compliance with world-class material management standards, optimizing material handling processes, and achieving targeted material management indices. By fostering accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement in store operations, the role supports organizational objectives, ensures seamless inventory flow, and promotes operational excellence.
Responsibilities
Store Incharge-SM
Operational Efficiency
Ensure uninterrupted workflows by creating GRNs in SAP MM for material receipts, meeting defined TAT targets to maintain operational continuity.
Enhance user satisfaction and productivity by streamlining material issuance processes, reducing waiting times, and aligning issuance with evolving operational priorities.
Achieve consistent inventory accuracy and operational efficiency by conducting rigorous daily and monthly audits, eliminating discrepancies resulting in improved stock availability and reduced operational delays.
Optimize scrap management by monitoring scrap receipts, ensuring timely follow-up for disposal, and sustaining efficient workflows across departments.
Governance, Compliance, And Risk Management
Minimize compliance risks by ensuring adherence to EMS, OHMS, QMS, and AMS standards across all store operations, in line with company policies.
Maintain audit readiness by following strict quality documentation standards and addressing internal and external audit requirements in a timely manner.
Promote workplace safety by enforcing safety protocols, conducting regular training for team members, and aligning operations with company safety guidelines.
Technology And Innovation
Prevent stockouts and ensure material availability by leveraging SAP-MM to monitor stock levels and analyze material flow, ensuring efficient inventory management.
Forecast demand accurately using spreadsheet applications to analyze trends and maintain optimal inventory levels, ensuring smooth operational continuity.
Stakeholder Management
Ensure accurate and timely material issuance by collaborating with internal teams to assess operational priorities and align material requirements with organizational goals.
Resolve material discrepancies by liaising with vendors and external partners, ensuring timely corrective actions and fostering trust and accountability to maintain operational efficiency.
