The Deputy Manager - will be responsible for carrying out day to day financial Operational activities within the given region to ensure accurate maintenance of accounts, bookkeeping, MIS Reporting, Statutory Compliance & Branch Control.

Financial Oversight & Compliance
- Oversee, guide, monitor, and control the financial accounting activities of the various units within the assigned region.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, including the Kuoni code of conduct, VFAR, Travel and Entertainment policies, and Finance SOPs.
- Conduct regular visits and surprise audits at VACs to oversee financial-related activities.
- Manage compliance with legal, statutory, and audit requirements, including handling direct and indirect tax matters.
- Maintain embassy accounts reconciliation and control, sending confirmations to the Regional Finance Controller (RFC).
- Conduct Foreign Assets Register (FAR) verification quarterly in collaboration with Admin, Security, and IT teams, and send confirmations to the RFC.
Financial Planning, Reporting & Asset Management
- Review books and Management Information Systems (MIS) monthly to ensure proper financial control.
- Prepare project budgets and pricing for upcoming projects.
- Conduct yearly and quarterly forecasting, along with management and control of Fixed Assets (FA), including yearly asset tagging and maintaining the FA register.
- Participate in vendor negotiations for new projects and insurance.
- Coordinate and execute Transfer Pricing audits, income tax assessments, and TDS compliance.
- Support the Shared Service Centre (SSC) team in Mumbai by sending required reports and MIS.
- Facilitate the setup of new operations in the region, including banking, SAP, online FF, and other requirements.
- Maintain and reconcile bank accounts, ensure timely payment of taxes, including VAT and Income Tax (TDS).
- Ensure internal customer satisfaction and support continuous professional development within the team.
- Provide operational support for smooth project start-ups and assist the Regional Finance Controller by executing instructions as required.
- Promote judicious use of natural resources.
Anti Bribery Management Systems (ABMS)
- Follow the ABMS roles and responsibilities details as prescribed on the ABMS manual.
- Understanding of ethical standards and the importance of integrity in business practices.
- Qualified in CA, CIMA, CMA or recognized equal qualification
- 2 - 3 of relevant work experience.
- Experience in SAP ERP would be added advantage
