Job Description

Responsibilities

Conduct feature coding, merging, rule validation and testing for ArcFM & ArcGIS.
Digitization/superimposing Gas Assets: Identify missing Data (GIS v/s GA's actual Data) for Steel & PE Network: Point Gas Feature - Missing point feature shall be collected from field by using real time GPS instrument with the help of GA team (Above ground gas point feature i.e. SR, Valve, RP, MRS, PRS, TLP, TRU, Anode etc.). Line Gas Feature: Missing pipeline features shall be captured/collected from field by using real time GPS instrument with the help of GA team OR collect as-built drawing and digitization accordingly.
Geodatabase Restoration: Collect Gas network data from Online Captured dataset, Desk top QA/QC-Repair geometry & assign appropriate attribute information, Convert to ARCFM Database by using ARCFM Data model, ensure connectivity and apply rules of ARCFM, Restore repaired Data at QA server & Finaly Restore at Production server etc.
Customer Data integration: Customer data collected from SAP and restore it at appropriate table in GIS Database, Assign connection Object ID to Gas point feature (Service Regulator, Riser Point, MRS etc.)
Invoice Verification: Pipeline Contractor's Invoice verification related to GIS data
Modification and correct GIS Data as per input from GIS Users/GA teams, maintain records and shall be shared with Users on a regular basis
Back-end supports: System integration, Version Posting, Compression database, analyzing dataset, Index calculation and spatial indexing on regular basis at QA & Production Server.
Coordination with Gas assets mapping/Online data capturing contractor/ vendor and support for their service as & when require
Support to SOUL for Integration, Co-ordination with ESRI
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate GIS data with other systems for comprehensive data analysis and reporting
Oversee the maintenance and quality control of GIS databases and ensure data integrity and accuracy.
Prepare and present GIS reports, maps, and visualizations to support decision-making at various levels of the organization.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to GIS data management and reporting.
Arranging training and knowledge sharing sessions.

Qualifications

Education Qualification:

Bachelor's or master's degree, Civil Engineering, or related field.

Experience

4-6 years of experience in City Gas Distribution industry
