Job Description
Position Title: Deputy Manager – KB Global Care India Foundation
Reporting To: GM – Head of CSR / KB Global Care India Foundation Location: Palwal Employment Type: Full-Time
Position Overview: The Deputy Manager – KBGCI will support the Head of CSR and KB Global Care India Foundation in the implementation and monitoring of CSR projects across KB entities. The role involves supporting project execution, ensuring alignment with approved CSR plans, assisting with stakeholder engagement, and supporting reporting and compliance requirements. The Deputy Manager will focus primarily on Education and WASH interventions aligned to SDGs 4 and 6, while also contributing to employee volunteering initiatives and community engagement programs.
Support external engagement with government authorities, sector bodies, and NGO partners.
Represent KBGCI in review meetings, workshops, and CSR sector forums when required.
Consolidate data and insights on impact metrics, beneficiary reach, and project progress for senior management review.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education:
Master’s degree in Social Work, Development Studies, Sustainability, or related field preferred.
MBA in CSR, Sustainability, or Public Policy is an advantage.
Experience:
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in CSR project execution, NGO coordination, or social development programs.
Exposure to Education and WASH initiatives is preferred.
Experience in supporting large-scale projects and working with multiple stakeholders is desirable.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong project management and execution skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder coordination.
Understanding of CSR regulations and reporting requirements in India.
Analytical mindset and ability to assist in impact measurement.
Ability to work collaboratively under the guidance of CSR leadership.
Languages:
English and Hindi required; Tamil is an added advantage.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Successful support and completion of CSR projects under guidance of CSR Head.
Timely and compliant reporting for all CSR initiatives.
Employee volunteering participation and engagement at project locations.
Quality of coordination and partnership with NGOs and other stakeholders.
Effective utilization of CSR funds across KB entities

- KBGCI-Led Responsibilities
- Program Design, Management & Implementation
- Support the design, planning, and execution of KBGCI’s CSR projects, primarily in Education and WASH, ensuring day-to-day operational delivery and achievement of project milestones.
- Coordinate implementation of projects through KBGCI and partner NGOs across thematic areas (education, health, livelihoods, environment, etc.).
- Track project timelines, budgets, deliverables, and partner commitments to ensure smooth execution.
- Partner Coordination & Due Diligence
- Act as the primary operational point of contact between KBGCI and implementing partners (NGOs, schools, local authorities).
- Support partner identification, due diligence, onboarding, compliance checks, and capacity building.
- Ensure alignment between KBGCI objectives and partner implementation plans.
- Monitoring, Reporting & Documentation
- Monitor project progress through field visits, reviews, MIS updates, and KPI tracking.
- Maintain project documentation and prepare KBGCI-level reports on outcomes, fund utilization, and impact.
- Prepare communication materials including presentations, case studies, project summaries, and inputs for website/social media.
- Community Engagement & Local Activation
- Coordinate and support community-facing initiatives, including SMC/PTM meetings, awareness sessions, local events, and capacity-building activities.
- Employee Volunteering & Engagement
- Plan and coordinate volunteering activities at project locations.
- Support internal campaigns to encourage employee participation and embed a culture of social responsibility.
- Support to CSR Head / Corporate CSR Initiatives
- CSR Governance & Regulatory Compliance
- Assist the CSR Head in ensuring compliance with Section 135 of the Companies Act, 2013, CSR Rules, and internal CSR policies.
- Support documentation and audit preparedness for all CSR compliance requirements.
- Budget & Financial Tracking
- Track CSR fund utilization against approved budgets at entity and project levels.
- Support fund disbursement processes, financial reconciliation, and vendor/partner invoicing.
- Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Coordination
