We identify opportunities in commercial and industrial value chains across Africa, and conceive, finance, build and operate the necessary infrastructure to allow businesses to develop and fulfil their potential. ARISE today comprises three separate companies, namely ARISE Ports & Logistics (P&L), ARISE Integrated Industrial Platforms (IIP), and ARISE Infrastructure Services (IS).
Profile Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Compensation Cycle Execution
- Execute annual and periodic compensation cycles including increments, bonuses, and incentives
- Prepare, validate, and consolidate compensation proposals in line with approved budgets and guidelines
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of payout calculations, approvals, and communication inputs
- Track budget utilization and support governance during compensation reviews
2. Payroll Inputs & Coordination
- Provide accurate and timely inputs to the payroll team for salary revisions, variable payouts, and other adjustments
- Validate payroll outputs related to compensation changes to ensure accuracy
- Coordinate with payroll and finance teams to resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
3. Performance Management System (PMS)
- Manage end-to-end execution of the PMS cycle (goal setting, mid-year reviews, annual evaluations)
- Ensure adherence to timelines, process governance, and system readiness
- Coordinate with business teams to drive closure of performance discussions
- Support calibration processes and ensure consistency in ratings across functions
4. Data Management & System Governance
- Maintain and update employee CTC structures and compensation records in HR systems
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and audit readiness across all compensation-related records
- Drive system updates and enhancements related to PMS and compensation modules
5. Reporting & Analytics
- Generate reports and dashboards on compensation trends, increments, and PMS outcomes
- Support leadership with insights on compensation distribution, budget utilization, and performance linkage
- Assist in audit requirements and data validations
What We Are Looking For:
- 5–8 years of experience in Compensation & Benefits / HR Operations
- Strong hands-on experience in compensation cycle execution and PMS
- Prior experience in consulting (HR consulting / rewards advisory / Big 4) will be preferred
- Good understanding of salary structures, CTC components, and payroll processes
- High attention to detail and strong data management skills
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Excel
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and manage tight timelines
- Strong ownership mindset with focus on accuracy and process discipline
