Job Description

This role in summary

This role will be a part of the Shared Services Centre responsible for managing teams in the areas of Consolidation & Reporting, SOX Controls, IFC, Financial Statements and Continuous Process improvement.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for Stakeholders Management Business Partnering, KPIs delivery wrt book closing, Fixed Asset accounting, inventory valuation, payroll accounting, lease accounting, intercompany accounting etc.
Month / Quarterly / Annual Closing under IGAAP and timely submission of Reporting Packages to Regional consolidation Team.
Maintaining hygiene of books and analyzing GAAP differences
Preparation of Financial Statements. Standalone and Consolidated as per schedule III. Preparation of SEBI One Pager, XBRL
Ensuring timely successful Statutory Audit closure of all entities entrusted without any major audit point by effectively collaborating with auditors and business team.
Ensuring correct accounting, and regional policy compliance, enhancing IFC controls for the different entities for Whirlpool of India and Elica India
Regular support to other function eg direct tax, indirect tax for timely closure of tax audits and responding to regulator’s queries
Analysis and review of monthly Legal & Management P&Ls and Balance Sheet along with the CFO.
Blackline GL Reconciliations
Capacity planning for team members to ensure optimum resources utilization.
Ensuring SOPs and Work Documentation for all the processes and work areas.
Driving automation initiatives and Lean Ideas in the processes.
