Role Description The Demi Chef De Partie is a full-time remote role responsible for supporting the kitchen team in delivering consistent, high-quality dishes that reflect Accor’s standards. This role involves preparing ingredients, cooking and plating menu items, and assisting in the management of a designated kitchen section under the guidance of senior chefs. The Demi Chef De Partie helps maintain food safety and hygiene procedures, supports inventory control, and ensures proper storage and labeling of products. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with the culinary team, following standardized recipes, contributing to menu improvements, and adapting to service demands while upholding efficiency and quality.
Qualifications

  • Culinary skills including basic cooking techniques, food preparation, and plating, with experience in a professional kitchen environment.
  • Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and proper storage practices, with a commitment to regulatory and brand compliance.
  • Teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with chefs and kitchen staff, including the ability to follow instructions and give clear updates.
  • Time management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks, maintain a clean workstation, and meet service timelines.
  • Adaptability and problem-solving abilities to work in a dynamic environment, respond to guest and service needs, and support menu changes.
  • Prior experience in hospitality or hotel kitchens is highly beneficial; formal culinary training or certification is an advantage.
  • Ability to work full time in a remote setup, using digital tools to coordinate with the team and follow standard operating procedures.
