Job description: Job Description Dataiku Data Engineering Developer/Lead Key Responsibilities Lead design, development, and deployment of scalable data pipelines and workflows within the Dataiku platform, ensuring architecture follows best practices for performance and security. Configure and optimize Dataiku system architecture including data connections, security settings, and workflow management to align with enterprise standards. Develop and maintain custom Python scripts and automation solutions within Dataiku, enhancing operational efficiencies and enabling advanced data processing capabilities. Engage with business units and data analysts to interpret, analyze, and translate complex requirements into actionable data solutions, with a particular focus on banking regulatory compliance and reporting. Ensure smooth implementation of change requests and production deployments using Azure DevOps, adhering to agile methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices. Conduct rigorous testing, troubleshooting, and problem-solving to maintain high-quality data integration outputs and system reliability. Mentor junior developers and foster knowledge sharing within the team to build a strong, skilled data engineering community. Ideal Candidate Profile We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented professional with substantial experience in data engineering and ETL tools, particularly Dataiku. Candidates who bring banking domain experience alongside exposure to AI, machine learning (ML), or data science projects will find strong alignment with our needs. Mandatory Skills: Proficiency in Dataiku platform for ETL operations with 4 to 6+ years of relevant experience. Strong coding skills in Python and SQL, complemented by sound knowledge of version control systems such as Git. Experience in data integration, data analysis, and working with large datasets to produce valuable business insights. Preferred Qualifications: Background in the banking domain with familiarity in regulatory data requirements and compliance frameworks. Hands-on experience with additional ETL tools like Informatica is advantageous. Exposure to AI/ML model deployment and fundamental knowledge of data science principles. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment with a proactive approach to problem solving and continuous learning. Work Location and Notice Period This role is based in Chennai or Bangalore with an immediate to a maximum 30-day notice period preferred.
