Our mission is to improve patient outcomes in target markets through innovative screening, diagnostic and treatment solutions. We manufacture and distribute a range of medical device products used in the diagnosis of human disorders of sensory system and neural pathways.
We are looking for an experienced Database Administrator to join our growing organization. In this full-time role, you will manage infrastructure projects and processes. The ideal candidate will have a thorough knowledge of Oracle and SQL, keen attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a solid knowledge base, as well as a thirst to learn different technologies.

The ideal candidate will have a thorough knowledge of Oracle and SQL, keen attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a solid knowledge base, as well as a thirst to learn different technologies.
Main Responsibilities
- Designs and implements build, deployment, and configuration management
- Tests system integrity and designs
- Builds and tests automation tools for infrastructure provisioning
- Optimize slow performing queries
- Convert Oracle to SQL or SQL to Oracle
- Optimize Database Backup/Stats/Index Maintenance Jobs
- Review/Optimize Indexes or find missing indexes
- Handles code deployments in all environments
- Monitors metrics and develops ways to improve
- Provides technical guidance and educates team members and coworkers on development and operations
- Brainstorms for new ideas and ways to improve development delivery
- Consults with peers for feedback during testing stages
- Manages CI and CD tools with team
- Documents and designs various processes; update existing processes
- Improves infrastructure development and application development
- Travel: up to 0%
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, engineering, software engineering, or related field. A combination of experience and education may be considered.
- 4-7 years as a Database Administrator.
- Highly proficient writing scripts in Oracle and SQL and working with Windows infrastructures
- Experienced with SQL Server
- Experience with Redgate Tools
- Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Proficient in PowerShell
- Participates in a 24 x 7 on-call rotation
- Automates install, configure, scale-up/down, backup/recovery, disaster recovery, and monitoring
- Microsoft Azure Certification
- Experience with or knowledge of Agile Software Development methodologies
- Knowledge of Oracle & MS SQL experience of Schemas and Data and configurations and installations

- The role will start as a work-from-home remote position but will turn into a physical presence in an office role in Bangalore.
- Minimal travelling: less than 5%
