Database Administrator

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related quantitative/technical field.
• Experience: 8+ years of dedicated database administration experience, with 5+ years specifically focused on Snowflake in an enterprise or financial services environment.
• Certifications: SnowPro Certified Administrator or Architect is highly preferred.
• Technical Proficiencies:
• Deep understanding of Snowflake architecture, data warehousing concepts, and ETL processes.
• Proficiency in Python or Unix Shell Scripting.
• Experience working with cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Familiarity with Data Build Tool (dbt), Databricks, or BI tools (like Tableau) is a plus.
