Database Administrator

We are currently looking for a Microsoft Database Administrator (MS SQL DBA) to join an important international client operating large-scale and highly secure IT systems environments.

This is an excellent opportunity for professionals experienced in enterprise-level database administration, performance optimization, and Microsoft data platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Administration and maintenance of complex MS SQL Server environments
• Database performance tuning, optimization, and capacity planning
• Management of Always On deployments, backup/recovery strategies, and disaster recovery solutions
• Development and maintenance of ETL processes, scripting, and data transformations
• Support and maintenance of Microsoft BI and Microsoft Fabric services
• Monitoring and troubleshooting database and infrastructure performance
• Collaboration within secure and distributed IT environments

Requirements

Security Clearance: A valid EU Security Clearance will be required.

• Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server administration

Expertise in:

• SQL performance tuning
• Execution Plans, SQL Profiler, and DMVs
• Recovery models and disaster recovery methodologies
• ETL tools and cloud-based database services
• Experience with:
• Microsoft Business Intelligence tools
• Microsoft Fabric
• Virtual infrastructures
• Monitoring systems
• Knowledge of restricted/high-security environments is considered a strong asset
• Experience with Active Directory tiering models is beneficial
• Excellent communication skills and proactive mindset

Certifications (strong asset)

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate
• Microsoft Certified: Fabric Data Engineer Associate

Working Method

• Hybrid distribution: approximately 30% on-site / 70% remote
• Long-term assignment with possible extensions
• Work within an international and mission-critical IT ecosystem
