Database Administrator

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Database Administrator (DBA) with strong expertise in Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and PostgreSQL. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience managing both on-premises and cloud environments (AWS/Azure) and proven skills in database migration, performance tuning, and administration. Key Responsibilities Perform database administration, configuration, installation, patching, and upgrades for Oracle, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL databases. Manage backup, recovery, security, and high availability solutions across multiple database platforms. Lead and support database migration projects, such as: Oracle ? Microsoft SQL Server Oracle ? PostgreSQL Work on database performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting. Implement and maintain database solutions on AWS and Azure cloud platforms. Use cloud migration tools such as AWS Database Migration Service (DMS) or Azure Database Migration Service for seamless database transitions. Monitor and maintain databases using on-premises and cloud-based monitoring tools. Collaborate closely with development, infrastructure, and cloud teams to ensure database reliability and efficiency. Provide technical support and consultation to clients and stakeholders, maintaining strong communication throughout project lifecycles. Ensure documentation, compliance, and operational standards are followed across environments. Required Skills & Experience 5+ years of hands-on DBA experience (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL). Proven expertise in database migrations (Oracle ? SQL Server / PostgreSQL). Strong understanding of AWS RDS, Aurora, Azure SQL, and Azure Database for PostgreSQL. Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., OEM, SolarWinds, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, pgAdmin, etc.). Solid experience in backup & recovery strategies, performance tuning, and troubleshooting. Good understanding of database security, replication, and disaster recovery. Excellent client communication skills and ability to work in global delivery environments. Flexibility to work with client time zones (3?4 hours overlap).
