Job Description

Role Summary

We are looking for a Data Scientist/Modeller with strong experience in credit risk and growth modelling for consumer lending. The role involves building acquisition scorecards, propensity and intent models, and driving data-led decisioning across underwriting and Responsibilities :

Develop Acquisition Scorecards Build Affluence/Income estimation models
Develop Propensity & Intent models for cross-sell and customer targeting
Design behavioral scorecards for portfolio management
Perform feature engineering using bureau, banking, and behavioral data
Work on model deployment, monitoring, and recalibration
Partner with Risk, Product, and Growth teams to optimize approval rate vs credit Skills :
Strong expertise in Python & PySpark
Hands-on experience with ML models (XGBoost, LightGBM, etc.)
Experience in credit risk modelling / scorecards
Strong SQL and data analysis skills
Exposure to LLM/NLP use cases (good to have)
Understanding of consumer lending / bureau Profile :
Experience in Fintech/NBFC/Banking (Retail Lending)
Hands-on exposure to end-to-end model lifecycle
Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
3-5 years of Join Us :
