Job Description

Role: Data Scientist

Seniority Level: Mid-level

Preferred Education: B Tech or B.E. (Computer Science / Information Technology)

Required Experience: 1+ years as a Data Scientist or similar roles

Key Responsibilities

Mine, process, and analyze web, product, sales, and digital marketing data to empower teams to make data-driven decisions
Utilize traditional machine learning techniques and language models to build AI agents for business needs
Contribute to building and deploying predictive models and machine learning algorithms across customer datasets
Support the deployment of machine learning models into production environments

Must-Have Skills/Technologies

Hands-on experience with LLM models and basic knowledge of evaluation metrics for LLMs
Knowledge of machine learning techniques including supervised and unsupervised learning
Proficiency in Python, SciKit, SQL, Jupyter Notebooks
Understanding of cloud platforms for data science tasks
Basic understanding of data mining and statistical analysis techniques
Knowledge of designing and deploying agentic systems
Exposure to knowledge bases, retrieval systems (RAG architecture)

Good-to-Have Skills/Technologies

Continuous learning of latest advances in transformers, generative AI models, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and agentic AI frameworks
Experience with integrating LLM agents with APIs
Knowledge of maintaining data models and improving taxonomy
Familiarity with A/B testing plans
Understanding of model activation strategies
