Data Scientist / Generative AI

Job Description

Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Generative AI Engineer (LLM Engineer) to design, develop, and deploy intelligent applications leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI frameworks . The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with LangChain, Semantic Kernel, HuggingFace, OpenAI APIs, and Vertex AI , combined with solid Python and data visualization expertise. Key Responsibilities Develop, fine-tune, and deploy Generative AI models and LLM-based applications using modern frameworks. Build prompt engineering pipelines, custom agents, and LangChain/Semantic Kernel integrations. Work with OpenAI, Google Vertex AI, and other LLM APIs to build context-aware solutions. Create Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems for enterprise data (chunking, embeddings, vector search). Integrate models with backend systems and APIs for automation and intelligent workflows. Leverage HuggingFace Transformers for NLP/NLU tasks such as summarization, classification, and Q&A. Use Matplotlib and Seaborn for visualizing data insights and model performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Data Scientists, ML Engineers, Product Owners) to define use cases and deploy production-ready GenAI systems. Must-Have Skills ? Programming Languages: Python (primary), SQL (secondary) ? Frameworks: LangChain, Semantic Kernel, Transformers (HuggingFace) ? LLM APIs: OpenAI, Google Vertex AI, Claude, Gemini ? Visualization: Matplotlib, Seaborn ? Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP (any one ? with model deployment exposure) ? Libraries & Tools: Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, PyTorch or TensorFlow ? Version Control & DevOps: Git, Docker, CI/CD Nice-to-Have Experience with vector databases (Pinecone, FAISS, Weaviate, Chroma). Exposure to fine-tuning LLMs or embedding optimization. Familiarity with LangSmith, Ragas, or prompt evaluation frameworks. Experience with Generative AI APIs for text, code, or multimodal tasks (e.g., images, speech). Understanding of data governance and security in AI systems. Qualifications ?? Bachelor?s or Master?s in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, or related field. ?? 3?7 years of overall experience, with at least 2?3 years in Generative AI / LLM development . ?? Proven track record of building and deploying LLM-based applications. Soft Skills Strong analytical thinking and creative problem-solving.
