About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Staff Data Scientist to join our growing AI and Data Science team. In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders to identify high-impact opportunities, develop AI and machine learning solutions, and drive the adoption of automation and Generative AI across the organization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable, production-ready data science solutions that deliver measurable business value.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate business and stakeholder requirements into scalable AI and data science solutions.
- Identify and evaluate opportunities where machine learning can solve real-world business problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive AI and data science initiatives.
- Present analytical findings, recommendations, and technical concepts effectively to business stakeholders.
- Apply statistical, machine learning, and analytical techniques to solve complex business challenges.
- Automate data preparation, feature engineering, model training, and monitoring pipelines using AI-driven tools.
- Explore, evaluate, and integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI solutions to accelerate data analysis, reporting, and knowledge discovery.
- Partner with engineering teams to deploy and operationalize machine learning models in production environments.
- Continuously monitor, evaluate, and improve model performance through automated monitoring, retraining, and alerting mechanisms.
- Independently manage assigned deliverables while proactively identifying and communicating project risks.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Master's degree or PhD in Data Science or a related quantitative field is preferred.
- 7–10 years of hands-on experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or AI.
- Strong proficiency in Python or another programming language widely used for AI and Data Science.
- Experience with cloud-based AI and analytics platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, distributed computing, data storage, and infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Expertise in at least two advanced analytical domains such as:
- Time Series Forecasting
- Classification
- Computer Vision
- Natural Language Processing
- Ability to select the most appropriate statistical or machine learning approach for different business use cases.
- Experience creating impactful visualizations, including correlation heat maps, bubble charts, dashboards, and executive reports.
- Strong business and financial acumen with the ability to quantify business impact and evaluate new opportunities.
- Experience working with Generative AI, LLMs, prompt engineering, or AI copilots is highly desirable.
- Microsoft Azure AI, Azure Data Scientist, or Microsoft Fabric certifications are a plus.
