Role: Data Scientist (On-site, India)
Role & Responsibilities
- Design, build and validate predictive models for HR use-cases (attrition, candidate sourcing, fit scoring, compensation analytics) through full lifecycle development.
- Perform feature engineering, exploratory data analysis and statistical testing to extract actionable insights from HR, ATS and operational datasets.
- Productionize models and analytics pipelines—package models, create APIs or dashboards, and work with engineering to deploy and monitor in production.
- Develop dashboards and visualizations that translate complex model outputs into clear, data-driven recommendations for HR leaders and client stakeholders.
- Optimize model performance and maintain model health: data validation, retraining strategies, bias/fairness checks and performance monitoring.
- Collaborate closely with product, delivery and client teams to translate business problems into measurable ML/analytics solutions and drive adoption.
Must-Have
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering) or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on data science experience building and deploying ML models in business environments.
- Proficiency in Python and libraries for data science (Pandas, NumPy) and ML (Scikit-learn).
- Strong SQL skills for data extraction, transformation and working with relational data at scale.
- Solid foundation in statistics, experimental design and causal inference relevant to HR/people analytics.
- Experience creating production-ready dashboards and visualizations (Tableau, Power BI or equivalent) and storytelling for non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with cloud platforms and MLOps tools (AWS/GCP, Docker, CI/CD for ML).
- Familiarity with big-data frameworks (Apache Spark) or experience handling large-scale HR datasets.
- Prior exposure to HR/Recruitment systems (ATS, HRIS) or domain experience in people analytics.
- Collaborative, on-site data team with direct exposure to client engagements and product development.
