Responsibilities -

1. Develop and implement data privacy policies and frameworks across the organization.
2. Ensure compliance with global privacy regulations such as General Data Protection Regulation, California Consumer Privacy Act, and Digital Personal Data Protection Act.
3. Conduct Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA) and Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA) to identify and reduce data privacy risks.
4. Work with cross-functional teams (IT, legal, compliance, and business teams) to implement privacy-by-design practices in systems and processes.
5. Monitor and handle data privacy incidents, breaches, and regulatory queries.
6. Review vendor agreements, contracts, and third-party relationships to ensure compliance with data protection requirements.
7. Conduct regular privacy audits and risk assessments across systems and processes.
8. Provide guidance and training to employees on data privacy policies and best practices.

Requirements -

1. 8+ years of experience in Data Privacy, Data Protection, or Privacy Compliance.
2. Strong knowledge of global data protection regulations and compliance standards.
3. Experience conducting DPIA, PIA, and privacy risk assessments.
4. Hands-on experience in developing and implementing data privacy frameworks and policies.
5. Good understanding of information security and data governance principles.
6. Strong knowledge of data protection laws and regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, DPDP.
7. Bachelor’s degree in law, Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field; a master’s degree or legal background is a plus.
