Job Title: Data Engineer Location: Bangalore (Whitefield) / Hyderabad Experience: 8+ Years Notice Period: Immediate Joiners Work Mode: Hybrid Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer with strong experience in GenAI/ML-focused data engineering and deep expertise in the AWS cloud ecosystem. The role involves designing and managing scalable data pipelines, working with large and complex datasets, and enabling advanced AI/Analytics workloads. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with AWS native services, ETL/ELT frameworks, and modern data engineering best practices. Key Responsibilities Design and optimize scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for structured, semi-structured, and unstructured datasets (including text, video, and other AI-relevant data types). Build and manage data ingestion, transformation, and delivery systems supporting GenAI, machine learning, and advanced analytics workflows. Collaborate closely with data scientists, ML engineers, and analytics teams to ensure seamless data availability for model training and reporting. Implement best practices in data modeling, metadata management, lineage tracking, and performance tuning. Ensure data security, governance, compliance, and high reliability across all platforms. Develop and maintain cloud-native solutions using AWS services such as Glue, Athena, EMR, Data Pipeline, Data Sync, S3, RDS, and DynamoDB. Enhance automation, monitoring, and observability through CI/CD and cloud-native orchestration tools. Must-Have Skills Strong programming expertise in Python (preferred) or Java / JavaScript / Scala. Database proficiency: NoSQL: MongoDB Relational: MySQL / PostgreSQL Hands-on experience with the AWS Data Ecosystem, including Glue, Athena, EMR, Data Pipeline, Data Sync, S3, RDS, DynamoDB. Proven expertise in building ETL/ELT pipelines for AI/ML and analytics workloads. Strong SQL skills with experience in query optimization and performance tuning.
