Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Data Engineer, based in Mumbai. The Data Engineer will work on building and maintaining robust data pipelines and systems to support data analysis and reporting needs. Key responsibilities include designing scalable data architectures, optimizing data workflows, and processing large datasets. The role will also require collaboration with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy innovative data solutions to solve complex business challenges.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in data engineering skills, such as data pipeline development, ETL processes, and database management
• Experience with data analysis tools, data modeling, and querying large datasets
• Strong programming skills, with expertise in Python, SQL, or Java
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and experience with distributed systems
• Knowledge of big data technologies, such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka, is an advantage
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex ideas effectively
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Previous experience in the insurance or financial services domain is a plus
