Data Engineer Team Lead (Talend)

Job Description

Company: A Large Global Organization Key Skills: Data Integration, Java, Rest, Talend, Rabbit MQ, DevOps, Agile Roles and Responsibilities: Lead a team of 3-5 data engineers in BI projects Build and maintain data integration workflows using Talend DI and ESB Manage data exchange processes with RabbitMQ and SFTP Develop and optimize scalable data pipelines to meet business requirements Work with databases (Oracle, SQL, MySQL, NoSQL) for storage, querying, and optimization Write efficient code in Java, SQL, and scripting languages Utilize HTML for web-based data visualization and reporting Implement version control and CI/CD pipelines using Git, Azure, Nexus Design scalable and secure system architectures following REST principles Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across systems Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions Stay updated on emerging tools and technologies to enhance processes Skills Required: Expertise in data integration and ETL development using Talend DI and Talend ESB Hands-on experience with REST API development and integration Knowledge of message brokers such as RabbitMQ and SFTP-based data exchange Proficiency in Java (JEE), SQL, and scripting languages (Powershell, XML) Experience with databases: Oracle, SQL, MySQL, NoSQL Familiarity with web-based visualization using HTML Implementation of version control and CI/CD pipelines using Git, Azure Repos, Azure Release Pipeline, Nexus Ability to design scalable and secure system architectures following REST principles Strong understanding of data accuracy, consistency, and security Leadership skills to manage, mentor, and guide a team of data engineers Exposure to Agile methodologies is a plus Strong collaboration, problem-solving, and communication skills Education: Any Graduation
