Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain scalable end-to-end data pipelines on AWS or Azure. Build robust ETL/ELT workflows for both batch and streaming data workloads. Design high-performance data models and manage large-scale structured and unstructured datasets (100GB+). Develop distributed data processing solutions using Apache Kafka, Spark, Flink, and Airflow. Implement best practices for data transformation, data quality, and error handling. Optimize SQL queries, implement indexing, partitioning, and tuning strategies for performance improvement. Integrate various data sources including PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, and Neptune. Collaborate with software developers, ML engineers, and stakeholders to support business and analytics initiatives. Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and compliance standards. Participate in client meetings, provide technical guidance, and document architecture decisions. Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have): Exposure to data lake architecture and lakehouse frameworks. Understanding of integrating data pipelines with ML workflows. Experience in CI/CD automation for data pipeline deployments. Familiarity with data observability and monitoring tools.
