Data Engineer

We are looking for a hands-on Data Engineer to help shape our Data Platform and deliver data products that improve animal health and welfare.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and operate scalable, production-grade data systems and pipelines on AWS or Azure, in close collaboration with Data Science, Product, and R&D.

Requirements

• 3+ years in data engineering
• Strong SQL and production Python
• Cloud experience on AWS or Azure
• Hands-on experience with cloud data warehouses
• Deep expertise in at least one of the following: Redshift, Synapse, Snowflake, Databricks, dbt
• Ability to describe systems end-to-end and dive into technical details
• Strong communication and teamwork

• Airflow, Databricks Workflows, Azure Data Factory, Matillion
• Data architecture, governance, modeling, cost management
• Kafka, streaming, Terraform, modern BI integrations
