While our global headquarters are in the Baltimore, Maryland, USA area, McCormick operates and serves customers from nearly 60 locations in 25 countries and 170 markets in Asia-Pacific, China, Europe, Middle East and Africa, and the Americas, including North, South and Central America This role will assist in developing and maintaining scalable data pipelines as well as ensure the availability, reliability, quality and security of data systems in order to support the global business? data needs and improve operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines leveraging Azure Synapse, PySpark, APIs, and SQL & performing advanced data cleaning, transformation, and manipulation to ensure high-quality, reliable data flows. Monitor data pipeline performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth and efficient data operations. Collaborating with IT team & other stakeholders to ensure seamless data integration. Build data quality control systems within the data pipelines, ensuring complete and accurate data matching the source information. Ability to achieve project goals and objectives by applying the discipline of planning, organizing, and managing resources to bring about successful project completion. Support OCR-based data extraction and processing Continuously seek out industry best practice and skills to develop new capabilities for data engineering at McCormick and help drive our digital transformation. Education & Experience 3-5 years of experience with Bachelor?s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Analytics/Science, or related field. Advanced analytical skillset. Proficiency in cleaning, visualizing, analyzing, and presenting insights from data sets Demonstrated ability coding in one or more languages (PySpark preferred) Experience with data visualization software (Power BI preferred). Experience with building data pipelines Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Experience with Cloud based tools (Azure preferred) Experience with an ERP system ? SAP preferred.
