CLE is not just a delivery function; we are becoming a strategic product engineering powerhouse, driving innovation across customer platforms, data services, and lifecycle automation. Our mission is to deliver customer-centric, scalable, and resilient solutions that power LSEG?s most critical services. Autonomous Squads: You?ll work in self-organised, cross-functional teams with clear ownership, agile rituals, and the freedom to innovate. High Visibility & Impact: CLE?s programmes are highly visible to senior leadership, with direct alignment to strategic priorities. Your work will be seen, valued, and celebrated. Rewarding Environment: We foster a culture of growth, recognition, and purpose. Whether you?re building new capabilities or refining existing ones, your contributions will drive real business outcomes. What you'll be doing: In this role, you'll be joining our Customer Lifecycle Engineering team as a Data Engineer. TECH PROFILE / ESSENTIAL SKILLS: 4+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering roles. Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation, transformation, and pipeline development. Experience designing and building scalable ETL/ELT pipelines. Familiarity with data modeling, data warehousing, and performance optimization. Experience working with structured and semi-structured data formats (e.g., JSON, Parquet, Avro). Understanding of data governance, data quality, and security best practices. Experience with API integrations. PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: Experience with PySpark for distributed data processing. Exposure to AWS cloud services such as S3, Glue, Lambda, EMR, DynamoDB. Familiarity with Snowflake or other cloud data warehouses. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation). Understanding of data lake and lakehouse architectures. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Highly motivated, self-directed individual with a proactive attitude. Customer and service-focused, with a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions. GOOD TO HAVE: Experience with orchestration tools like Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect. Experience with real-time data streaming technologies such as Kafka or Kinesis. Experience with Matillion for data transformation and pipeline orchestration. Experience with Salesforce for data integration and customer data management. Experience with snowflake for Data Modeling. LSEG PURPOSE AND VALUES Our purpose is driving financial stability, empowering economies and enabling customers to create sustainable growth.
