Data engineer Intern

About the Role

We’re looking for a Data Engineer Intern to help our data team with daily data operations and pipelines. This role is suitable for fresh graduates or final-year students (no ongoing classes) who want hands-on experience in real production data systems. Responsibilities

• Help build and maintain data pipelines
• Support data validation and data quality checks
• Assist in data preparation for analytics and reporting
• Work closely with senior data engineers

Qualifications

• Fresh graduate or last semester (no classes attended)
• Available for full-time internship
• Willing to learn and able to work with guidance

Required Skills

• SQL
• Basic to intermediate queries (JOIN, CTE, aggregation)
• Python
• Data extraction and transformation
• Familiar with pandas
• Relational databases (PostgreSQL / MySQL)
• Basic understanding of ETL / ELT
• Git and basic command line (Linux)

Preferred Skills

• Apache Airflow or similar scheduler
• dbt / Spark
• Docker
• Cloud (GCP / AWS)
• Basic BI tools (Looker, Metabase, Power BI)
• Kafka or streaming concept (optional)
