Job Summary

This role is responsible for designing and building scalable data management systems, ensuring all data solutions meet organizational requirements, and identifying new opportunities for data acquisition and utilization. The position requires strong knowledge of industry practices, including data mining methodologies, algorithm development, and data application strategies.

Primary Responsibilities

• Design, construct, install, test, and maintain data management systems.
• Develop high‑performance algorithms, predictive models, and prototypes.
• Ensure all systems comply with business requirements and industry standards.
• Integrate emerging data management and software engineering technologies into existing architectures.
• Establish processes for data mining, data modeling, and data production.
• Build custom software components and analytics applications.
• Research and evaluate new applications for existing data assets.
• Use a variety of programming languages and tools to connect and optimize systems.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including data architects, IT professionals, and data scientists, to achieve project objectives.
• Implement and maintain disaster recovery procedures.
• Recommend improvements to enhance data reliability, quality, and performance.
  
  

Qualifications

• Technical degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience with relational and non‑relational databases (e.g., SQL, MySQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, MongoDB).
• Experience programming or architecting backend systems (e.g., Java, J2EE).
