Job Title: Data Engineer – Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

Role:

We are looking for a Data Engineer with hands-on GCP experience to build and optimize data pipelines, warehouses, and lakes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and efficient data solutions.

Key Skills

Strong GCP experience: BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Composer, AlloyDB

ETL/ELT pipelines, SQL, Python, DBT, Airflow
Data modeling, schema design, query optimization
CI/CD, Git, Terraform/Terragrunt
Preferred: streaming pipelines, ML pipelines (Vertex AI), Kubernetes, IAM/governance

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Dataflow, Dataproc, Cloud Composer (Airflow), and DBT.
Build and optimize data warehouses and lakes on BigQuery and Cloud Storage.
Work with structured/semi-structured data ensuring quality, lineage, and governance.
Implement data transformations using DBT, SQL, Spark, or Python frameworks.
Optimize query performance and storage costs.
Collaborate with teams to define data models, schemas, and partitioning strategies.
Integrate with third-party APIs and streaming platforms for real-time data.
Monitor and maintain pipelines to ensure reliability and data freshness.
