Job Title: Data Engineer Location : Hyderabad Experience : 6-8 Years Job Typ e: Contract to Hire Notice Period : Immediate Joiners Mandatory Skills: Application architecture, design and implementation in Python Review, evaluate, and manage fulfilment requests in the internal Bug Management system. Job Description: We are looking for a skilled and proactive Data Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of modern data solutions that drive key business initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Snowflake and DBT, along with foundational knowledge of Python for scripting and automation. Exposure to AWS cloud services is a plus. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Snowflake and DBT. Perform data modeling, transformation, and integration to meet business requirements. Develop clean and efficient Python scripts for automation and workflow orchestration. Ensure data quality, integrity, and performance through rigorous testing and best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including analytics, operations, and engineering. Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, code reviews, and retrospectives. Monitor and optimize existing data workflows and resolve issues proactively. ________________________________________ Must-Have Skills: Strong experience with Snowflake (data warehouse design, performance tuning, SQL). Proficiency in DBT for data transformation and modeling. Working knowledge of Python for scripting and automation. ________________________________________ Nice-to-Have Skills: Familiarity with AWS services (e.g., S3, Lambda, Glue, Redshift). Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git. ________________________________________ Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of experience in data engineering or a related field. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
