We?re Hiring | Data Architect (GCP) Location: Gurgaon (Onsite) Experience: 10?11 Years Notice Period: Immediate Joiners Preferred Employment Type: Full-Time / Permanent About the Role We are seeking a highly experienced Data Architect (GCP) with a strong background in data modeling, cloud data architecture, and large-scale data platform design . The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and a proven ability to architect and implement robust, scalable, and secure data solutions for enterprise environments. This role involves designing data lakes, data warehouses, and end-to-end data pipelines , while ensuring governance, optimization, and alignment with business strategy. Key Responsibilities Architect and design data platforms on GCP leveraging BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Storage. Develop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support business intelligence, analytics, and AI/ML use cases. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data strategy, architecture standards, and governance frameworks . Lead the migration and modernization of legacy data systems to GCP-based solutions. Design and implement ETL/ELT pipelines using GCP-native and open-source tools. Ensure data quality, security, and compliance across platforms. Optimize performance, cost, and scalability of cloud-based data systems. Guide and mentor data engineers and analysts on architectural best practices. Work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions . Required Skills & Experience Must Have Skills: 10?11 years of total experience, with at least 4+ years in data architecture . Hands-on experience with GCP services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer, and Cloud Storage. Strong proficiency in data modeling (OLTP, OLAP, dimensional modeling, star/snowflake schemas). Expertise in SQL, Python, and ETL/ELT design patterns . Experience implementing data governance, lineage, and metadata management . Strong understanding of data integration, MDM, and security frameworks . Good to Have: Exposure to AI/ML data pipelines or real-time analytics platforms. Experience with Terraform or Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) for cloud provisioning. Familiarity with Snowflake, Apache Beam, or Databricks . Certifications such as Google Professional Data Engineer preferred.
