Job Summary/About the Role

We are looking for a Data Analyst II with 4–6 years of experience in data analytics and business intelligence. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in Power BI, SQL, Python, and Azure, along with exposure to the insurance domain. This role involves building dashboards, analysing data, and supporting senior analysts and business stakeholders in driving data-driven decisions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics,

• Experience: 4–6 years in data analytics, BI development, or related roles.

Technical Expertise:

1. Strong proficiency in Power BI (data modeling, DAX, Power Query).
2. Solid SQL skills for querying and data manipulation.
3. Working knowledge of Python for analytics and automation.
4. Experience with Azure cloud services.

• Domain Knowledge: Exposure to insurance industry processes and KPIs.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities

Data Analytics & Reporting

• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to support business needs.
• Perform data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and insights.
• Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency in reporting.

Technical Skills

• Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and transformation.
• Use Python for data cleaning, automation, and analysis tasks.
• Work with Azure services (Data Factory, SQL Database, Synapse) for cloud-based data solutions.

Domain Expertise

• Apply knowledge of the insurance domain to interpret data and provide meaningful insights.
• Collaborate with business teams to translate requirements into analytical solutions.

Collaboration

• Work closely with senior analysts and developers to deliver projects on time.
• Support cross-functional teams with ad-hoc analysis and reporting.
• Contribute to documentation, best practices, and process improvements.
